so thankful
I'm so thankful for my wonderful family, friends, and life in general.
There are too many blessings to count. The thing that makes it so wonderful is that those blessings ring true all year. I'm not only blessed during this holiday season but every other day of every other year.
So many people out in the world struggle on a daily basis. And though we all have our own struggles many are unimaginable. They struggle to stay alive, they struggle to meet their basic needs, and they struggle to be happy. For those out there I wish them moments of peace. Moments when they can breathe a sigh of relief and think that everything will be okay. I don't only want them to think this but I want it to be true.
I've had such a great Thanksgiving break. I haven't been out of sweat pants in the past 72 hours and that is pretty amazing if you ask me. I've gotten to take time to relax and finally wrap my head around everything. I've been so busy with school lately that I've forgotten to even appreciate my education. Thankfully though a few days off may give me the extra nudge to make it until winter break.
I spent today with one of my best friends and loved every minute. We were lazy all day, just hanging out with her family and watching movies with her sister. Not only is she incredible, but the day was as well :)
When it comes down to it the things that make me feel the luckiest and most thankful really aren't things at all....they are people. People that I have in my life that I wouldn't trade for the world. People that surround me with love and support. People that I respect so much and think so highly of. People that I'm lucky I get to spend my time with year around. So I guess if I could grant everyone a moment of happiness and peace, I would want them to have someone there to experience that with. Someone that they love dearly and someone that helps them make sense of this crazy world.
