Long time, no blog.
ahhhhh I'm a terrible blog keeper as of recent.
I don't know if I've just lacked any creative ideas, or any ideas at all.
I've been having a somewhat lazy summer working on and off but obviously need to kick my blogging back into high gear.
Since I wasn't entirely sure exactly what to blog...I decided to answer a bunch of random questions about myself. 50ish random questions, I removed a few that I had no idea what they were talking about. By the end of this blog you may know me too well. I found this somewhere on tumblr.
Here yah go:
What do you put on hotdogs? ketchup and relish normally.
Do you say "anticlimatic" or "anticlimactic"? the latter, though it took me a good 45 seconds to even find the difference.
Do you check flyers before grocery shopping? nope.
Blue, black, or some other colour pen ink? blue?
Do you use your parking brake? if I'm on a really steep incline, which rarely happens.
Look to your left. How many framed pictures are on the wall? Two.
Do you know how to play chess? Nope, not at all.
How often do you clean the interior of your car? Umm every few months if it gets too dusty.
Do you ever read the last few pages first? I have a couple of times, more for class than for leisure reading.
Ever fallen in the shower? Almost.
On a scale of 1-10, how likely are you to swear at other drivers? 6. I don't actually yell it to them because I'm too afraid of getting shot. So I just cuss about the general situation and then feel guilty for judging their intelligence so harshly.
What's the worst thing you've ever called someone you care about? Not sure really. Something along the lines of question 11.
Do you have a Snuggie? Yes, it was a gift and is hot pink.
Are you allergic to anything? Not that I know of.
Do you have any TV shows on DVD? Yes...Glee, One Tree Hill, Friends, The OC, I Love Lucy
How many times do you hit the snooze button before finally getting out of bed? I've probably hit snooze 3 times in my life. I get up when the alarm goes off.
Ever driven away in anger? Sure.
What's your favourite freezie colour? White Cherry, makes no mess and is yummy.
Are you a vegetarian? Not currently but I've gone through phases of it for months at a time. I was just recently reconsidering it.
Do you have a garbage receptacle beside you? What's on top? A paper towel.
Do you cross out your mistakes or erase/whiteout them? Usually erase or white out...if too much is crossed out I have to restart
Ever torn something up that you instantly knew was too important for such treatment? No if it was once important I think about it before I throw it away and then let that go.
Do you think that things will get better? Yes I'd like to think things get better.
Do you have an unpopular opinion? What is it? I don't like sweet potatoes, no one can relate.
What's your favourite quote? Oh goodness there are so many...Today, I really like "Isn't it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back everything is different" - C.S. Lewis -
Did you/are you going to go to prom? Yes I went to senior prom and missed junior prom to see Carrie Underwood with a friend, totally worth it.
What's the most physically painful thing you've ever experienced? Breaking my arm, the 3rd time is the one I remember more than the others.
What's the most emotionally/mentally painful thing you've ever experienced? Emotionally I'm not sure, probably a break up or heartache type of situation. And mentally would just be times in college when my brain hurts and the stress is higher than normal.
Have you ever legitimately saved a person's life? Not that I know of.
What's your favourite book genre? Realistic Novels, Psychological Books, or books about Women's rights and issues.
Have you ever walked out of a movie at the theatre? No but I should have for a few, especially "Young Adult". I sat there hoping something significant would happen. Note to everyone: Nothing does.
Do you peek between your fingers during the scary scenes? Yes.
Do dogs like you? Mhmm typically.
Would you say that you project an air of authority? It depends on the subject, but most likely it never is something I project so strongly.
Do people listen when you speak? I'd like to think that they do the majority of the time.
What is one thing that you do exceptionally well? Be honest. Ummm when I'm in the zone I would say writing. I'm good at finding new music. And I think I make people laugh pretty regularly.
When was the last time you paid for music? About 2 weeks ago, Mat Kearney's new CD.
Are you addicted to technology? I wish I wasn't but as I answer that I'm using a laptop with my phone 6 inches away from me. I don't think I need it as much as some people of my generation. I'm comfortable without it and sometimes prefer to unplug and leave my phone at home for the day. It's a blessing at times but also can be a curse if it takes away from quality conversations.
Do you check your computer's dictionary for the definition of words you'd otherwise feel confident about using during in-person interactions? Just to be sure?
Yes, sometimes it is helpful.
How heavily to you rely on spellcheck and autocorrect?
Not too heavily but it doesn't hurt to have the resource.
Have you ever gotten into an argument on the internet? Did you win?
Yes but I don't remember who "won".
Do you pause movies/TV shows if you have to go to the bathroom or the kitchen, or do you just let them keep playing?
Pause if I think it's important or I haven't seen the movie before.
If you use a regular alarm clock, do you have it set to music or that obnoxious beeping? I use my phone now and it beeps.
 Peter Pan?...tinkerbell
How often do you fall up the stairs? I'm a klutz, that is all you need to know.
Do you pronounce "anti" as ant-eye or ant-ee? (Example: "That scene was very anticlimactic.") ant-eye
Do you pronounce "via" as vee-uh or vie-uh? (Example: "We can get there via Tremont Street.") vee-uh
How often do you forget to close your parentheses? It has never been a problem, so I'll go with never.
I don't know if I've just lacked any creative ideas, or any ideas at all.
