With No One Watching
Hopefully over the next few weeks being on break will allow me time to write a blog about something new and noteworthy.
Until then and because of demand from my friend Lauren...here is a poem.
Until then and because of demand from my friend Lauren...here is a poem.
---------------------------------
With No One Watching
Stretched between cotton blends
of two parallel trees.
Back and forth I slip-
you’re presently ingested
by a province of green ocean.
Sifting out worried days
through brief closed eyes.
A whimpered sigh takes flight
meeting my ears.
Then a stretch escorts
an even more drastic fall.
Loving fingers skim across pages,
with hopes of forever changing you.
Highlighted words, scripted notes
delicately placed there by me.
Lines and letters to read between.
Punctuating interactions
biding to once more,
this time,
secure you.
Back and forth I slip-
captivated by a roll of shoulder
and glowing orbs
they must know, you have to know.
When you think no one is watching
pull and mastery become even more,
Forth purely now.
-------------------------------------
Be Love.
