"When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be." -Lao Tzu

Sometimes it takes someone close to you to to really help you fully let go of your own ideas for yourself.
Sometimes it literally takes someone saying "Stop thinking so much" in order for you to realize that you need to just be.
Sometimes it takes someone else to really look at you, in order for you to see yourself better.
And its great to sometimes get that from someone.
I hope you all can find a friend, or friends, that do that for you randomly. When it happens randomly it can even be the most effective. Though these connections always have meaning, when they randomly occur and pop up, they seem to be in their purest form. Friends can give you a great feeling of understanding...
Because even if its not a feeling that you  have with you every second of everyday, when you feel that connection with someone, no matter for how long, its pretty fantastic. And its reassuring to know that you aren't the only one who doesn't have it all figured out and that sometimes being a mess with no plans, is the best way to be.
I've always found it interesting to see myself through the lens and perspective of others. Though, I try to only do this for positive views and reflections. When you allow yourself an interesting and refreshed perspective from someone you value and care about, you can start to examine things differently. That friend can give you a push in a direction you didn't even know was there, and tell you all the right things.
Sometimes you've got to be vulnerable before you can become a stronger and clearer version of yourself.
I'm grateful for that feeling from a friend tonight, and am lucky to know that it won't be the last time.
