Animal Planet + a new hairdo

Animal Planet, oh how you entertain me.
I used to watch Animal Planet all the time as a kid.
And I have to admit I just had to change the channel when a baby caribou was being chased by a wolf.
I only changed the channel after yelling "Go, Runnnn baby caribou run."

Besides the moments when I have to change the channel, I find it calming.
And really interesting. When I was little I really wanted to be a vet and then I wanted to be a marine biologist. Maybe that is why I have a special place in my heart for all the animals they show.
Animals do some of the most interesting things.
I always wonder what the people are like who actually get the footage for shows that I'm watching. It must be an incredible job to be that close to nature and to capture it so clearly. Pretty insane if you really think about it.

quick side note: I got some hair chopped off.

It is pretty funky and pretty different. I'm adjusting slowly but surely. Woo new hair!

Now go embrace your nerdy side. For me and for now that is Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, any of that good stuff. :)
