11. What are your deepest values?
Love,Faith,Honesty,Acceptance,Humanitarianism,Understanding,Compassion

12. What were some challenges, difficulties and hardships you’ve overcome or are in the process of overcoming? How did you do it? I think I overcame the first year of college. It may sound cheesy but parts of it were really hard and I felt totally lost and didn’t know what I was doing, but I was able to get through it eventually. & I grew to really enjoy school by the 2nd semester freshman year.
I think I’m getting to know more about myself with every day,month,week...its an ever developing thing but I like it so I wouldn't categorize it as a true "challenge" but more as a development.

13. What causes do you strongly believe in? Connect with?
I’m reading “Half the Sky” right now and its about women's suffering through rape, abuse, neglect, and hardships but turning it around to save others and change the world.  Its something that I can easily see myself getting involved with. Its about empowering women through education and how it has the potential to better the world. Also, the Humane Society and helping animals. I feel bad for them because a lot of the time its humans who ruin their environment and disrupt the peace. But they don't have a voice. It is a cause that I really love because animals just want to give love and can be abused and tortured but with help can turn in to amazing pets. I hope to adopt a dog or two when I have a house of my own.

14. If you could get a message across to a large group of people. Who would those people be? What would your message be? I think I would try to address my generation. I would talk to them about getting involved and putting themselves out there. I would want to lead by way of example and inspire them to break out of the mold of working just to get more and more. But instead throwing their heart into making beautiful changes, even if they are just minor they can still mean the world to someone.

15. Given your talents, passions and values. How could you use these resources to serve, to help, to contribute? ( to people, beings, causes, organization, environment, planet, etc.)
I’d love to drop everything and jump into charity work. But I’ll admit I am a college student who hopes to have a great education. I’d love to use my education to make a difference in the world though. Now may not be the best time for me to move to an impoverished country or physically rally for animal rights, but I can support these causes by signing petitions, reading stories, and donating what I can. I think that these things are important and can lead to major life-changes down the road. For now I’m just trying to educate myself through the academic world and also other outlets (organizations, causes, books).
