Technology, a blessing.

I know I'm not the only person who has had moment where they just want to throw their phone down and make it stop buzzing....
However, I was just thinking about how tonight technology has been an absolute blessing.
I-Chat (skype) is a great invention. I got to talk to a best friend for literally 2 hours and see her face the whole time. [We even figured out how to take snapshots of the screen haha]
Really though, isn't it incredible that you can see someone who you miss without actually being with them? Now I know nothing replaces in person communications but sometimes it can seem like so much more than a phone call.
Without I-Chat I wouldn't have gotten to serenade Whit with some Mandy Moore(which I'm sure was a highlight) or listen and see each others reactions as we told funny stories, or talked about serious things. I love that 2 hours of I-Chatting with someone amazing can keep me happy for hours to come and that I still have a smile on my face. :) Its awesome feeling that connected, even when you are miles away.
