Growing up...

Last night my oldest brother and myself cooked at his place. My other brother who is 3 years older than me had to work, he was missed.

But it got me thinking about how our ages are pretty cool. Me (almost 20), then a 23 year old and a 26 year old brother. I think we are all at a place were we mutually respect each other and do value what everyone has to say [as much as we can at least ;) ]
Years ago when I was in middle school I would like to think I had some pretty good thoughts or advice to give but I was about 12 and it was hard for a 15 year old and an 18 year old to listen. Now after being at college for a year and a half I think for some reason that has earned me some credibility. It is easier to relate to my brothers and to understand what they are going thru.

We successfully made dinner and invited our parents over. We worked well in his tiny kitchen and didn't even get into a fight when we went to the grocery and he deleted the email that contained our recipe [dumb dumb ha].

Maybe it's the magic of the holidays...
or maybe it was just that we are all figuring out who we are and our really really close to being big boys and girls [aka adults]Strange strange strange.
