I think it would be awesome to come home to my friend [ who promises to move to the beach with me after graduation ;) ] and be able to say "I took care of an orangoutang today." or " I rescued dogs from an abusive owner." I think it would be a job that would offer a daily reward. I know it would be hard and I'd most likely be angry at owners and feel so upset for the animals. It would be motivating to see the change that you can cause and the happiness you can bring an innocent creature.
Obviously I love animals :) I watched Animal Cops today before class. It was the most startling scenes from the show and my eyes were literally watering. I can't believe how some animals are treated. A lot of the cops that were talking felt the same way and were confused as to why anyone would get a pet or animal just to neglect it and abuse it. It just doesn't make sense....
Maybe when I grow up (as in life after college) I'll be a cop. Not just any cop but an Animal Cop. I'll bust down doors and save cats and dogs and horses and anything that we can find.
Animals just want to give love and go about there lives, they don't naturally want to be aggressive and cause harm. All you have to do is show them love and they give it to you right back. No matter who you are, what you look like, how much money you make, how smart you are, they just love you if you love them...It is as simple as that.
